The Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG), in association with the Guyana Arts and Craft Producers Association, will be hosting “The Gift and Craft Christmas Village” from tomorrow at the National Library in Georgetown.
According to the two associations, in this festive season, many are still undecided on what to give friends and family. A visit to the Gift and Craft Village may help solve this problem.
The village will feature a wide variety of items, including pottery, fabric, straw jewellery and leather products. Members of the Craft Producers Association will be present to explain the design, history and craft of each piece.
Craft producers say the village is a means of showcasing and marketing their products.
