Checks yesterday revealed that the firearm was missing. The man’s son and two other men have been arrested and are assisting with investigations.
And a female licenced firearm holder left her .32 Taurus revolver with ammunition in her handbag in the lunch room of her place of employment and upon checking later found that they were missing. The police are advising licenced firearm holders to take special care with their weapons.
According to a senior officer, licenced firearm holders who wish to leave the country should lodge their weapon with the nearest police station.
