Doc's Engineering Managing Director Shamdeo Gosine (right) hands over the cheque to GFF's Aubrey ‘Shanghai' Major in Trinidad yesterday.
Doc’s Engineering, a leading construction company in the Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, has once again come to the assistance of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) and the ‘Golden Jaguars’.
Yesterday, Managing Director of the Company, Shamdeo Gosine handed over a cheque to Organising Secretary of the GFF Aubrey Major, who was instrumental in organising the assistance.
Gosine, owner of Doc’s Khewalas Football Club, who has assisted the Federation in the past, said he was very happy to do so again.
Gosine’s contribution will mainly assist the ‘Golden Jaguars’ with transportation to and from the training venue during Group H of the Digicel Caribbean Championships presently being played in Trinidad and Tobago.
Doc’s Khewalas was the first Pro League club to invite Guyanese players to Trinidad. The T&T club also won the Kashif and Shanghai Football Championship defeating East Demerara’s Victoria Kings. Major expressed the GFF’s gratitude to Gosine for company’s continued help.
