The free Tai Chi and Qi Gong Workshop will be staged tomorrow from 1:00 p.m. at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
This Workshop will be conducted by Sifu (Teacher) Rahman Khabir, who has over 30 years experience in the discipline and is the Principal of the Tai-Chi Institute of Trinidad and Tobago.
The topics to be looked at during the Workshop includes: Tai Chi Iron Fan; Developing Qi for Health and Self Defence; Chan Ssu Chen (Gathering Energy); Fa Jing (Releasing Energy); Silk Weaving for Health and Longevity; Strengthening the Prostate Gland; and Meditation.
Sifu Khabir is also a former Pan American Gold Medalist and a 5-time U.S.A. Hall of Fame recipient.
Participants are requested to wear loose and comfortable clothing as well as soft footwear to tomorrow’s activity.
