Yamaha Caribs preparations for their 16th anniversary tournament received a boost when Robert’s Jewellery and Mike’s Pharmacy presented representatives of the club with trophies for the winning teams and outstanding individuals at a simple ceremony held at the latter’s business location on Robb and Alexander Streets yesterday.
President of the club Charles Greaves collected the donations from Managing Director of Robert’s Jewellery Robert Persaud, while Paul Mollyneaux acted on behalf of Mike’s Pharmacy.
The tournament will be played on Sunday at the National Park and teams are expected from the USA and Trinidad and Tobago along with locals’ Hornets and the Guyana Defence Force.
March Past of teams will commence at 11:00 hrs.
