Ann’s Grove mauled Black Stallion 4-0, while Victoria Kings edged Plaisance by the odd goal in three when rivalry in the Mackeson / East Demerara Football Association senior league continued on Sunday afternoon at the BV Ground.
Antonio Jackson led Ann’s Grove with a brace of goals (53 & 74), with one each from Carlos Adams, who opened the scoring in the 18th minute and Travis Glasgow in the 60th.
Plaisance jumped ahead in their match up against Victoria Kings through a Kingsley Bowen 20th minute strike but eight minutes later Shawn Samuels drew Kings, level. The winning strike came off the boot of Andrew Holder in the 58th minute.
Two more matches are carded for this afternoon at the Plaisance ground. From 14:00hrs, Victoria Kings match skills with Buxton United and two hours later, Bakewell Buxton Stars challenges Ann’s Grove.
