The Guyana Badminton Association Under-15 & 17 Junior Singles Tournament continued last Tuesday at the Queens College Badminton Courts where several players advanced through their respective semi-final and quarter-final matches as the event nears its climax.
The girls U-15 semis were decided, while all the other departments completed their quarter-final stages. Anissa Rodrigues and Tashana Lowe booked their slots to the championship game set for tomorrow at the same venue.

Under-15 Boys Singles Quarter-finals:
Jason-Ray Khalil defeated Avinash Odit: 21-2, 21-8
Kevin Quaicoe defeated Amandeep Alvis: 21-17, 17-21, 21-10
Christopher Persaud defeated Andrew Peroune: 21-17, 8-21, 21-11
Narayan Ramdhani defeated Clive Bender: 21-6, 21-2
Under-15 Girls Singles Semi-finals:
Anissa Rodrigues defeated Priyanna Ramdhani: 21-11, 21-4
Tashana Lowe defeated Pricilla Moore: 21-19, 16-21, 16-21
Under-17 Boys Singles Quarter-finals:
Nicholas Ali defeated Amandeep Alvis: 21-5, 21-7
Jason-Ray Khalil defeated Avinash Odit: 21-15, 21-19
Narayan Ramdhani defeated Andrew Peroune; 21-6, 21-2
Avian Rodrigues defeated Christopher Persaud: 21-10, 21-8
Under-17 Girls Singles Quarter-finals:
Anissa Rodrigues defeated Colleen Sardhina: 21-15, 21-3
Tashana Lowe defeated Anuradha Odit: 22-20, 21-8
Maria DaSilva defeated Blossom Dublin: 21-16, 21-11
Pricilla Moore defeated Priyanna Ramdhani: 23-21, 14-21, 9-21
The remaining quarter-final matches were slated for yesterday, while the tournament will climax tomorrow with the respective finals.
