Competition in the Banks DIH Coca Cola Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) first division league continues tomorrow at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.
Milerock, one of two teams sharing the lead will match skills with bottom of the table Netrockers, on 10 points.
The other match up brings together second place Bakewell Topp XX (19 points) and Winners Connection, who occupy the penultimate position with 11 points. Kick off time is 18:00hrs.
Meanwhile, in latest results, Topp XX were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Amelia’s Ward in their clash on Sunday while Netrockers and Eagles United also battled to a 1-1 tie.
Shevane Seaforth sent Topp XX into the lead in the 58th minute after a goalless first half but Shawn Daniels evened the score for Amelia’s Ward 8 minutes before full time.
With two minutes to go, Seaforth had the chance to put his team ahead from the penalty spot but his shot was saved by custodian Odel Allicock.
Oswin Hope netted for Netrockers in the 31st minute and Eagles responded through a Deon Sanchara 86th minute effort.
The full points standings, Milerock 20 points (10 games), Blueberry Hill 20 points (12 games), Topp XX 19 points (12 games), Silver Shattas 16 points (11 games), Eagles 14 points (12 games), Amelia’s Ward 11 points (12 games), Winners Connection 11 points (11 games) and Netrockers 10 points (10 games).
