The Guyana Cricket Board has released the names of the players that will comprise the three teams to compete in a specially arranged 3-day matches.
This series of matches replaced the Senior Inter-County Competition after the GCB took the decision to suspend the competition due to, what has been said as the poor performances by Essequibo.
Team 1 will play Team 2 on Tue14 – Thur16 October at the DCC ground. The match starts at 9:30am due to early darkness at this time of the year.
All Essequibo and Berbice players for Team 1 and 2 are asked to report to the Hostel on Monday October 13 at 5:00pm.
Team 1 with come from: Leon Johnson, Richard Ramdeen, Norman Fredericks, Steven Jacobs, Hoomchand Pooran, Ranga Lachigadu, Vishal Singh, Deon Ferrier, Delroy Jacobs, Zaheer Mohamed, Veerasammy Permaul, Esaun Crandon, Trevor Benn and Keon Joseph.
Team 2 will feature: Narsingh Deonarine, Maxie DeJonge, Krishna Arjune, Gajanand Singh, Royston Crandon, Ravi Sarwan, Yogeshwar Lall, Orin Forde, Anthony Bramble, Sauid Drepaul, Rakesh Goberdhan, Trevon Garraway, Jason Benn and Keyron Fraser.
Team 3 reads: Sewnarine Chattergoon, Shemroy Barrington, Rajendra Chandrika, Assad Fudadin, Krishna Deosarran, Christopher Barnwell, Devon Clements, Eugene LaFleur, Derwin Christian, Herman Latcha, Devendra Bishoo, Brendon Bess, Ryan Hercules and Seon Daniels.
