Former West Indies middle order batsman, Narsingh Deonarine was elected at the helm of a 14 man squad to represent Berbice in the Eldorado Inter-County 50 over cricket competition, while current West Indies opening batsman, Sewnarine Chattergoon has been elected his deputy.
Mahendra Nagamootoo, another cricketer with West Indies experience is also a member of the squad. Vice President of the Berbice Cricket Board, David Black is the team’s manager, while former Guyana all rounder and U-19 coach, Hubern Evans will serve at the coach.
The other members of the team are: Royston Crandon, Assad Fudadin, Gajanand Singh, Veerasammy Permaul, Esaun Crandon, Brendon Bess, Davendra Homchand Pooran, Ranga Lachigadu and Delbert Hicks, Paul Wintz and Davendra Bishoo.
