Wales are the Cecil Persaud Under-15 champions having defeated Uitvlugt Sunday at the Canal No. Two Sports Club in a 40-overs contest.

When Uitvlugt took the crease, this total seemed too far from their reach as they only managed 57 all out in 20 overs. Dhaniram Latchoo obtained the only respectable score of 15. Brian Deodat was the main destroyer for Wales bagging six wickets for 24 runs in 7 overs. The winner and runner up will receive $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.
