The Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) Inter Jamaat 10 overs Tapeball Cricket competition sponsored by Trophy Stall is set to be concluded on Sunday at the MYO ground, Woolford Avenue.
A number of matches from the quarter-finals will be contested and this backlog of games is due to last weekend’s rain which resulted in the quarter-finals matches being postponed.
As a result, the organisers have agreed that the quarter-finals and semi-final matches will be reduced to 6 overs per team while the final will remain a 10 over affair. The presentation ceremony will be held after Sunday’s final.
This will be the MYO’s final competition until the end of the Holy Month of Ramadhan which is expected to commence on Monday. The next competition will be in October.
Sunday’s full schedule follows.
Quarter-finals
08:00hrs Queenstown vs. Enterprise
08:50hrs Winsor Forest vs. Farm B
09:40hrs MYO vs. Hustlers XI
10:30hrs Meten-Meer-Zorg vs. Grove
The respective winners will advance to the semi-finals which will be played at 11:30hrs and 12:20hrs. The third place match will be played at 13:00hrs with the final set for 14:00hrs.
