A group of 17 students from the School of Media Arts and Studies, Scripps College of Communications, Ohio University, USA, have arrived in Guyana to witness Carifesta.
The aspiring media professionals will take the opportunity to see and feel firsthand the diversity of cultures that the Caribbean offers at this year’s historic hosting of the mega event.
Also here is Professor Frederick Lewis who heads the team, as well as two other members of staff of the University’s faculty of Communications, bringing the total number of the delegation to 21.
Whilst here, the group will be involved in the filming and documentation of various aspects of the festival.
