Competitive cricket on the East Bank of Demerara will begin shortly when the W&H Rambarran/R&W Supercentre 20/20 cricket competition bowls off.
According to a release from the organisers, the break in the weather will allow them to get started but they will be meeting with the teams this afternoon at the Providence Community Centre from 17:30hrs to finalise plans and registration.
President of the Guyana Cricket Board, Chetram Singh will chair the meeting which will also be attended by Chairman and members of the East Bank IMC.
Interested teams are asked to take note that the registration fee is $6,000 and they will have to confirm registration at this evenings meeting.
The winner of the competition will pocket $100,000 with the losing finalist taking home $50,000. The top individual performers will also be rewarded.
