Captain of the Dominica national team 20 year-old Glenson Prince is of the view that the mental toughness of his team will see them past the ‘Golden Jaguars’ in their opening group B encounter of the 2008 Digicel Caribbean Championship tonight at the National Stadium, Providence.
Prince, a member of his country’s under-17 and senior teams which lost to the Guyanese in recent years, said it would be very difficult for them since they only had just over 3-weeks to train.
He shared that where the team trains it is very difficult for them since the field is bumpy but the players are very strong.
The young captain said that the composition of the team is youth and experience with the youngest player at age 19.
He said that playing under the lights will not affect them since they are accustomed to that back in Dominica 90% of the time.
“In these two games we are going to give it our best shot.”
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
