Another teen has reportedly run away from home. Fifteen-year-old Elita Roberts, a third form student of North Ruimveldt Multilateral School was last seen on Wednesday, wearing blue Capri jeans and a blue and white top along with leather slippers.
Her parents and other siblings made the discovery at around 3:30 am when they would usually check on the teen only to find the bed empty. The parents are saying that she jumped over the back door and made her way.
The teen’s mother, Evette Roberts, said that she started seeing a different child when Elita started high school.
She would frequently joy ride buses and would hang out at the bus park with friends after school. She said that the child would behave badly when she was with her friends because they influenced her to do bad things.
The mother said that she took her daughter to a social worker because of a misunderstanding with a male neighbour.
The teen’s mother believes that she has a boyfriend and has even suggested that she is with the male. Her mother is pleading with her daughter to return home, because she loves her and cares about her well being.
