Shem Domino team won the Sgt. Allan Carter Memorial trophy last Sunday at Shem’s Hide out, Vryheid’s Lust on the East Coast in the memorial Domino competition staged there.
They tallied 73 games to defeat Better Hope South with 69 and Vryheid’s Lust Youths in the cellar on 60 games.
Junior Chisholm recorded the maximum 18 games for the winners, while Albert Persaud had 16 for Better Hope South and Robert David 13 for Vryheid’s Lust Youths.
The winners collected the trophy donated by the Carter family. Meanwhile, another Domino competition has been fixed for today at the Kings Plaza Hotel. The GDF Association of Guyana is the host of today’s event which has been organised by Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell. A number of trophies are at stake for the outstanding performers.
