The 28-year-old Enmore man who was on the run for the past two months after he reportedly killed his reputed wife, has died. Reports are that Suresh Singh ingested a poisonous substance on Sunday morning last at his mother’s residence at Enmore.
Kaieteur News understands that Singh, called ‘Yam Head and Termal,’ succumbed sometime early yesterday morning while being treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
On April 19 last, at Grass Field, Enmore, Singh reportedly slit the throat of Shaneza Khan at the home which they shared.
Since the incident, Singh has managed to elude police. However a wanted bulletin was recently issued by the police for him. In addition, Khan’s family had been trying relentlessly to capture Singh, who was seen in the area several times after the incident.
