DEAR EDITOR,
I am really grieved when I read in the papers about “Fine Man”, “Skinny man”, “Bad man” and others.
The questions that keep coming to my mind are: What has happened to these young men so early in their lives that they have gone astray?
Who has taught them to kill, steal and destroy than to live simple, honest contented and God-fearing lives?
I do not know the exact number of young men who have been led astray in this way, but I know that this number will go on increasing unless we put a stop to it now.
It will go on escalating until every young man in this country will be classified as a bad man.
The Bible says: “train up a child in the way he should go, that when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
The word of God is always correct, so let us trust God and follow his instructions.
Let us introduce our children to God as early as possible, so that they will live lives subject to parents, teachers and to God. Then they will increase in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man.
Yes, the only answer to it is to introduce them to God and His Word as early as possible, so that they would grow up to be “children of God”.
Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me. A stranger they will not follow.”
Yours sincerely
Thathai
