Opposition Leader and Leader of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR), Robert Corbin, left Guyana on Friday to address a Town Hall Meeting in Toronto, Canada, tomorrow, at the invitation of the National Democratic Council (NDC).
The title of Mr. Corbin’s address will be “Good Governance and Recent Developments in Guyana.”
Mr. Corbin will take the opportunity to give an account of developments in the society, focus on the negative effects of the rising cost of living, the threat to press freedom, the breaches of the Constitution, and why the PNCR believes that the current security and economic environment are not propitious to the holding of CARIFESTA X.
On Monday, Mr. Corbin will be the guest speaker at a business luncheon organised by the Guyana Outreach Project-Dialogue with the Diaspora in Malton, Mississauga, Canada.
The subject of his address will be “Investing in Guyana , Business Climate, Political Stability and Security.”
