Dear Editor,
Having lost the last general elections convincingly to the PPP/C, the PNCR is up to yet renewed tricks.
It was hilarious to read that PNCR’s Robert Corbin has now recruited AFC’s Raphael Trotman and GAP’s Paul Hardy to join his comical bandwagon to petition CARICOM on governance and petty issues.
It is clear that the basis of their alleged “governance issues” is shared/inclusive governance. Is there shared governance in North American and European nations? Also, was there shared/inclusive governance under Burnham or Hoyte? Every Guyanese knows the answers.
Corbin has yet to account for the G$100M that he illegally provided to his party’s paid thugs and hooligans to cause trouble during his recent “protests.” He is obviously trying to deflect attention away from this issue. Commissioner Greene acted appropriately in defusing a potentially confrontational situation with Corbin’s paid thugs.
What has the PNCR done for Guyana lately? Nothing! The PNCR should remember that now is not the time for Halloween: they have lots of tricks, but no treats!
The PPP/C Government should and would continue to advance Guyana for the betterment of all Guyanese, including the PNCR, AFC, and GAP.
