Dear Editor,
I would agree that minor offenders granted REMISSION on good behavior by the Minister after that dangerous situation hit our country Guyana recently was not a bad decision. To inject a breath of fresh air into all our Guyanese citizens and visitors to our beautiful land, I would think that those who were granted remissions should be monitored properly by reporting to their district police station once per week to fill out questionnaire forms in triplicate (station, headquarters, ministry) and this would certainly help in a way to alleviate recurrences. I look forward to the authorities in security putting this measure in place now.
