Dear Editor,
My name is Abiola Charles and I am a very concerned citizen. My best friend worked at President’s College as a Farm Manager since 2014. A month ago he was fired by the board without being given a reason for termination.
No proper procedure was followed or the approval of the Minister sought by the board. I have at hand the letter of termination and other letters he wrote to the Ministry of Education, the board of Governors and GPSU seeking their intervention.
He is currently considering protest action at the Ministry of the Presidency and the Ministry of Education, so I would like to share the documents with your paper, if you are interested and seek your readers’ advice on the way forward because right now my friend is very frustrated.
Abiola Charles
