The National Sports Commission will be paying attention to Persons With Disabilities (PWD) in Region #2 during the period May 17 – 21, 2017. Mr. Wilton Spencer Sports Organiser will be there to conduct training for guides, persons who will be aiding the blind as they compete in Track and Field events. Training will be conducted at the NOC ground on May 18 and 19, 2017 commencing 09:30h daily.
On May 20 and 21, 2017 Sports Organiser will be conducting a domino competition for persons with disabilities.
On both days competition will commence at 10:00am at the Unit of the Community Based Rehabilitation Programme located at Queenstown Essequibo Coast.
All persons with disabilities are asked to contact Mr. Lloyd Griffith, Area Coordinator, for further information.
