Parika Salem and Hydronie will clash in the final of the East Bank Essequibo Cricket Committee Dwayne Stephens Auto Sales T20 tournament tomorrow at Vergenoegen ground.
Both teams recorded victories in their respective semi final games played on Sunday last at Zeelugt.
Parika Salem defeated arch rivals Hyde Park by three wickets. Batting first, Hyde Park made 155-7 with Shaied Mohamed scoring 29 and Travis Drakes 27. Extras contributed 35 as Dexter George took 3-33. Parika Salem responded with 157-7. Kemol Savory hit 40, while Jason Heyliger made 38, George 30 and Royan Fredericks 24. Drakes had 3-27.
Hydronie beat Vergenoegen by seven wickets. Vergenoegen took first strike and were sent packing for 91 in 19 overs. Eon Daniels made 18 and Lennox Andrews 16. Azaad Azeez claimed 3-16 and Ajit Seodat 3-17.
Hydronie replied with 94-3 in 18 overs. Vickram Kissoon got 27 and Amrit Rai 17. Dwayne Stephens took 2-19.
Hyde Park and Vergenoegen will clash in the third place play off at 09:30hrs followed by the final at 13:30hrs.
