St. Mary’s defeated South Ruimveldt by 29 runs when The Ministry of Education National Sports Commission AL Sport & Tour Promotions inter-zones Secondary Schools Easter vacation Windball competition commenced recently at the National Gymnasium.
Playing in the boy’s category, St. Mary’s batted first and made 107 without lost with Stephon Wilson scoring 84. South Ruimveldt responded with 78-2. D. Williams made 28 and Joel Taylor 18.
Richard Ishmael beat Lodge by 45 runs. Richard Ishmael took first strike and managed 103-2. Byron Bowen scored 56 while Joshua Gardener made 24 and Juspice Jones 15. Lodge were restricted to 68-3 in reply. Triston Gordon got 33 and Ricky Stewart 14. Jones had 3-17.
In the girl’s category, East Ruimveldt overcame St. Mary by six runs. East Ruimveldt took first strike and got to 101-1. Sarah Reynolds hit 46 and Jahada Forde 18. Saint Mary’s replied with 95-2. Althea Callender made 72.
