During the opening of tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday, there were a numbers of bids in relation to the upgrade of a farm access road and the construction of a timber bridge at President’s College, Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara, Region Four (Demerara/Mahaica).
The Ministry of Agriculture was listed as the procuring entity and the engineer’s estimate was announced at $36.1M.
Tenders were opened for the procurement of stationery supplies and janitorial items. The procuring entity was listed as the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Tenders were also opened for the supply and delivery of five new double cab 4 x 4 pickup motor vehicles. The procuring entity was announced as the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is also the procuring entity for the supply and delivery of two new all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).
Bids were also submitted for the supply, delivery and testing of desktop computers for the Ministry.
Tenders were opened for the supply and delivery of one new motor vehicle also, for the Natural Resources Ministry.
For the supply, delivery and installation, and testing of equipment at the Linden Technical Institute, bids were submitted and the procuring entity was listed as the Ministry of Education.
Finally, tenders were opened for the printing and delivery of readers and workbooks for the National Distribution (Nursery Level).The Education Ministry was also listed as the procuring entity for this project.
