Police are guarding a 46-year-old West Demerara resident who is excreting several cocaine pellets at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
He was nabbed at the check-in area of the CJIA, about 14.00hrs yesterday. His transporter, a 35-year-old taxi driver, also of West Demerara, was taken into custody.
Police said that the 46 year old cocaine swallower has been on the police radar for some time now. So far, he has excreted 61 of the 91 cocaine pellets which have been detected via X-ray. The amount retrieved thus far amounted to 444 grams. He was an outgoing passenger bound for the USA.
