Dear Editor,
The need for investment in Guyana to create much needed jobs should be a priority for any government hoping to develop our country. So why one might ask that no government has been able to deliver any sort of development since 1975, the answer is simple they do not want to develop this country; all of them are only interested in power and self aggrandizement- the status quo suits them as we have all noticed with the exchange instead of change we got in 2015.
The answer is simple; meaningful tax reform move the tax rate from almost 60% to 20% across the board and let the citizens of this country breathe for a change instead of been crushed into a pulp by a state that seeks to impoverish the working class people of this country.
