St. Lawrence defeated Blake primary in the female category, while Blake overcame St. Lawrence to capture the male prize when the Lionel Seepersaud organised six-over softball tournament was held recently at Edward Matthews’ community centre.
Chandroutie Chan of St. Lawrence won the female MVP while Micky Subraj took the male MVP.
The competition was played in observance of the 50th independence anniversary and sponsored by Doobay Domestic and Industrial Gas Supplies, Rosanna Lackhan of Align Arts, Bissoon Sawmill and Zaman Wharf and gas station.
