The Ministry of Public Infrastructure has commenced repairs to a section of the Soesdyke- Linden Highway which had developed a hole.
According to a Government statement, the section under repairs is located at the foot of the Moblissa Hill.
The work began after a report was made, by a taxi driver, to the Ministry of Public Infrastructure. Prime Ministerial Representative Vladimir Glasgow was among those on the site today, observing the repairs and expressing gratitude for the Ministry’s response to remedy the situation.
The work is expected to be completed next week, weather permitting, the statement said.
