Dear Editor,
There seems to be a problem with payments to security guards in the Mabaruma Administration. The poor people have not yet been paid for the month of March and April is coming to an end. Editor, this seems to be the trend because they were not paid in time for Christmas either. It is said that the Security Services are contracted out but, to which entity? Also, what is the minimum wage in Guyana? Are these people paid their due? Thank you for bringing this issue out please.
Concerned guard
