Proprietor of The Garage, on Aubrey Barker Street, South Ruimveldt, Eswick Northe, hosted 1,500 children from the adjoining communities on Sunday. He was continuing a tradition he started three years ago.
His first effort saw him accommodating 500 children with kites and refreshments. In the second year, he hosted 1,000 children. This year the figure was 1,500.
Mr. Northe also really made the children because he donated kites to every visiting child.
Supporting him were Minister David Patterson and other Government officials.
