Minister Harmon undertook to make the contribution during a recent visit to Lethem. The Toshao pointed out that the intention of the council’s trip to Georgetown is in keeping with a forward momentum already initiated by the Government of Guyana.
He told Harmon, “We feel this initiation of a working relationship with your Ministry and the other Ministries within our government will strengthen our plans for development and their implementation”.
Davis added that the Toka Council is a youthful one with seven members. He added too that the venture will provide an opportunity for the group to be more au fait with the various government officials.
