The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) will commence its Public Awareness and Public Outreach Programme 2015 in Region Three, West Coast Demerara next Wednesday (March 9).
Residents of Region Three who are desirous of meeting with the DPP to file complaints pertaining to criminal matters can do so when the DPP team visits between 8:30am and 12:00 noon and 13:00 hours and 16:00 hours at the Regional Office Vreed-en-Hoop.
The outreach programme is also in keeping with the DPP’s Office open-door policy to help aggrieved persons who find it difficult to or are unable to come to the Kingston Office in Georgetown to seek help for justice.
During the next three months, the DPP’s Office has planned outreaches to Essequibo Coast, Linden, Berbice, Bartica and its surrounding environs on dates that will be published in the newspapers and broadcast on television and radio.
