Dear Editor,
I hereby offer my sincerest apologies for the tone of my letter dated – January 2016 01-29 in which I expressed great disappointment at the President’s views concerning putting an end to corporal punishment in the school and the home. I am still opposed to the views expressed by the President. However the tone of my letter which was written ‘in the heat of the moment’ was harsh and disrespectful to the President, Minister Roopnarine and to all that might share the same views, and for that I apologize.
