Scotiabankers from the Central Retail Collection Unit (CRCU) once again brought cheer and the spirit of the season to the Bless the Children Home located in Industry, East Coast Demerara, recently, when they granted the wishes of the 25 wonderful children residing there.
Each child was given a gift. The presents were selected based on the home’s Annual Christmas Wish list. The presentation was done by several Scotiabank CRCU representatives, in the company of one of the caretakers of the home.
The children welcomed the tokens and were very appreciative. The afternoon was well spent for both the kids and the staffers of the Scotiabank’s Collections Unit, many of whom described it as “an emotionally overwhelming experience”.
The successful initiative was made possible through the contributions of the team members of the Scotiabank CRCU
“The Scotiabank CRCU Bright Future Committee always looks for an opportunity to give back to our Community!” said one of the staffers.
