The Guyana Police Force has relocated the headquarters of its ‘F’ Division (interior locations) from the city to Bartica in keeping with a charge made earlier this year by President David Granger. The move took effect from yesterday.
The Divisional Headquarters, which was previously housed at Rabbit Walk, Eve Leary, is now located at Lot 12 Third Street, Bartica.
According to a press statement, no landline telephone is in place at the office. Efforts are being made to have this facility available as soon as practicable.
However, Divisional Commander, Senior Superintendent Ravindradat Budhram is now based in Bartica and can be reached on cell number # 648-0171.
The developmental movement of the Divisional Headquarters to Bartica will enhance command and control of police operational activities in the interior.
