Seven matches are scheduled to be played today in the Diamond Mineral Water Hockey Festival currently being played, at the National Gymnasium.
This year’s Festival which opened yesterday will see teams from Trinidad and Tobago, Canada and Barbados battle the top local teams for top honours.
Pepsi Hikers are the defending men’s champion, while GCC Tigers and Hickers are the Ladies and Veterans title holders.
The winning male and female teams will take home US $1000 with runners-up carting off US $500.
The Veterans winners will receive US $500, while runners-up get incentive prizes.
