TNT chalked up 41 games to capture the Mark Wiltshire/Reginald Bowman four-game dominoes title when the final was contested recently at Lil Mark Boutique, Festival City, North Ruimveldt.
Turning Point placed second with 41 games followed by Sparton on 34.
Shawn Morgan marked 11 and Dane Bynoe 10 for the winners, Colin Mc Ewan and Jane Chase made 11 apiece for Turning Point while John Chance scored 11 for Sparton. Morgan copped the Most Valuable Player prize while TNT pocketed a trophy and $40,000 and Turning Point $20,000.
Meanwhile, Wiltshire and David Hunte will be hosting an 18-team two-in-one-out competition tomorrow at Hunte’s residence Middle Street, Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara. The tournament is dubbed ‘Sunday in the Country 11’ and among the teams slated to battle for supremacy are Rage, Thunder, West Side, Mix Up, Blue Bird, Providence, Unruly Bunch and R&R.
The winning team will take home $120,000 and a trophy, compliments of V & V Variety Store. The runner up will receive $40,000 and trophy sponsored by Hunte while third place will pocket $15,000.
Action gets underway at 14:00 hrs and entrance fee is $10,000. Following the contest TNT, Saddam and GT will clash in a specially arranged fixture.
