DEAR EDITOR,
Please allow me to comment on the honourable Joe Harmon’s assessment on the coalition’s performance in its first 100 days.
The right and honourable gentleman gave his government an ‘A’ for performance in the first 100 days. I beg to differ. I am a hard assessor. I will the government a grade ‘D’ with the comment ‘ has potential but significant room for improvement.
Until the average Jane and Joe can see real changes in their everyday lives, the self-serving assessment of an ‘A’ grade by the right and honourable gentleman would be interpreted as arrogance and cockiness by the suffering electorate.
