Nabadaningi Gobin also called “Dangles Boss”, was on Tuesday arraigned before Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts for the murder of Rayon Clementson.
The 32 year-old accused, was not required to plead to the indictable charge which stated that between July 14 and 24 at Tucville, Georgetown, he killed Clementson.
The clothing vendor was unrepresented by an attorney. The prosecution facts were not presented by Police Corporal Deniro Jones and the matter was adjourned to August 14.
Jones stated that according to police reports, Clementson, 25, of Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara, succumbed to his injuries after he was shot by a lone gunman while in the company of another man at Turning Point, Tucville.
According to information received, Clementson was standing on the bridge at Turning Point when a man rode up on a motorcycle and discharged several rounds in his direction before fleeing. The now dead man was hit to his right thigh.
It was believed that he (Rayon Clementson) was also armed but did not get the chance to return fire as the suspect managed to flee the scene.
Last week Edward Skeete called “Pretty Boy”, also appeared before Magistrate McLennan for the murder of Clementson and was remanded to prison.
The 28 year-old accused of Independence Boulevard, Georgetown, was not required to plead to the indictable charge. He was also unrepresented.
