Corporate giant Banks DIH Limited and Industrial Safety Supplies Ltd. of Camp Street are the latest business entities to throw support behind the Guyana team members on the West Indies team that will contest the 2015 Palma Match, Team and Individual World Shooting Championships.
The eight members of the Guyana team will play an integral part in the West Indies Team that will be shooting for glory against the best in the world. Banks DIH has been a long time supporter of the Guyana NRA and is maintaining this commitment for the local members on the WI Team for the championships that is set for Camp Perry, Ohio, USA from August 3rd to 14th.
Industrial Safety Supplies Ltd. said they are very proud of the Guyanese members on the WI Team and are fully aware of their individual and collective talent given the fact that Mr. Lennox Braithwaite is the reigning West Indies Individual Champion while Guyana is the reigning Short and Long Range champions.
The local rifle shooters are appealing to local businesses to lend support as they seek to cover their budget of 4million that will cover their participation at the World Championships. Entities and persons wishing to contribute can contact Guyana NRA Secretary Mr. Ryan Sampson on 623 0963.
