The Second Part of the Annual Guyana Olympic Association Olympic Day of Activities saw the Guyana Badminton Association running off the GOA Future OPEN Badminton Tournament at The Cliff Anderson Sports Hall
which attracted some past National Players like William Holder, Grandison Robinson and Gokarn Ramdhani.
The Open Men & Ladies Singles & Doubles started at The Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Tuesday 23, of June 2015 at 5:30pm. Matches were played up to the Semifinals, which continued Tuesday and yesterday and the Finals are set for today starting time 5:30pm and the Presentation will be at 7:00pm.

Men Singles First Round:
Grandison Robinson defeated youngster Tyrese Jeffrey in a three setter: 24-22, 7-21, 15-21
Darrell Carpenay defeated Josh Oodit: 21-8, 21-4
Jonathan Mangra defeated Ransell Ransaroop: 21-5, 21-8
Gokarn Ramdhani defeated Akili Haynes: 21-7, 21-6
Christopher Persaud defeated Cecil Abrams: 21-12, 21-15
Men Singles Quarter-Finals:
Narayan Ramdhani defeated Grandison Robinson: 21-3, 21-0. The second games stopped at
11-0 as Robinson pulled a muscle and had to concede.
Avinash Odit defeated Darrell Carpenay: 21-18, 21-7
Jonathan Mangra Defeated Gokarn Ramdhani: 21-19, 21-9
Nicholas Ali Defeated Christopher Persaud in a three setter: 21-17, 5-21, 11-21
