The Guyana Football Federation has announced the appointment of Mr. Eric Phillips as the replacement for Mr. Stuart May, Normalization Committee Member on the FIFA’s Normalization Committee.
Mr. Stuart May has been a part of the Normalization Committee since its induction by FIFA in October, 2014. His resignation from the Normalization Committee is due to family commitments.
As a result, FIFA has appointed Mr. Eric Phillips to complement the Members of the Normalization Committee effective 25th May, 2015.
Mr. Phillips will join the Normalization Committee in an effort to complete the mandate provided by FIFA by its 30th September, 2015 deadline.
Chairman of the Normalization Committee, Mr. Clinton Urling has expressed his appreciation to Mr. May for his time devoted to the development and restoration of systems and procedures at the Guyana Football Federation. He also stated he is looking forward to working with Mr. Phillips to ensure that the work of the Normalization Committee is completed within its specified timeline.
