Despite the rainy weather over the past two weeks, enthusiasm is high as golfers look forward to the annual El Dorado sponsored tournament this weekend. It is certain that the winners over the last 3 years will be seeking
to regain top positions.
El Dorado Brand Manager Larry Wills in a brief hand-over ceremony of the sponsorship cheque and trophies for the tournament expressed his company’s delight to be partnering with LGC to bring off the competition for the fourth successive year. El Dorado Rum, one of DDl’s top brands had been sponsoring golf tournaments at Lusignan for several years prior to 2012.
Wills said he is highly appreciative of the great support that golfers give to the El Dorado sponsored tournament and looks forward to competitive play this weekend. Golf Club President David Mohamad expects the grounds would be in excellent condition as the grounds staff are working diligently.
Previous winners: 2012 – Carlos Adams 66, Kishan Bacchus 68, Brian Hackett 68 and S. Deosarran gross 78.
2013 – Troy Cadogan 66/27, Christine Sukhram 70/10, Brian Hackett 71/23, Gavin Todd 71/17, and Mohanlall Dinanauth gross 77.
2014 – Mohanlall Dinanauth 69/4, Dr Philbert London 69/28, Joaan Deo and Mohanlall Dinanauth gross 73.
