Clavern Beresford became the latest centurion in the 2015 New Building Society Second Division 40-Over Cricket Competition in Berbice when he slammed 114 for Corriverton against No.70 M.Y.O in their recent encounter. His knock, which included 9 fours and 8 sixes, and which together with 63 (7 fours and 3 sixes) from Errol Byass, propelled Corriverton to 303 for 9 in 35 overs. The two of them added 130 for the 2nd wicket.
They came back with the ball and took 2 wickets each to restrict M.Y.O to 190 all-out in 30 overs.
Crabwood Creek Rising benefitted from scores of 53 (3 fours and 4 sixes) from Mahendra Bhola and 50 (4 fours) from Satesh Baldeo to be able to past 282 for 8 in 35 overs against No.72 All Stars who could only respond with 99 all-out in 21 overs.
