Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc (GSCL Inc) has extended condolences to the family of the late Chronicle Sports Reporter Calvin Roberts.
Roberts served as Public Relations Officer of GSCL for a number of years and up to his demise. Trustee of GSCL Inc Mahendra Hardyal said that members of the organization are struggling to come to grips with his demise and his services will surely be missed. Hardyal said that Roberts was always willing to go the extra mile when called upon to ensure the GSCL Inc tournaments are successful.
GCUC sympathieses
The Guyana Cricket Umpires Council (GCUC) has also extended sympathy to Roberts relatives and wished them well in this their time of bereavement. Roberts was well acquainted with many members of the council; his demise has left many in a state of shock.
