Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) overcame Transport Sports Club (TSC) by five-wickets to capture the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/Brainstreet Under-15 title yesterday at Malteenoes Sports Club.
TSC batted first and were dismissed for a paltry 85. Joel Spooner top scored with 31 while Dequan Bamfield took 3-10, Jospiece Jones 2-10, Qumar Torrington 2-11 and Nkosie Beaton 2-25.
DCC replied with 86-5. Man-of-the-match Alphius Bookie stroked 33 and Robin Williams 20. Joel Spooner and Akeem Maloney claimed 2 for 17 each.
