Ansa McAL Trading Limited, under its Heineken brand, launched their 2015 Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League (UCL) Promotion last Saturday evening at the Gravity Lounge.
The promotion kicks off today nationwide.
Heineken Brand Manager, Robert Hiscock told Kaieteur Sport yesterday that Guyana is extremely passionate about football and as such, Heineken will ensure that something special is done for the UEFA Champions League. Heineken is a long-standing sponsor of the Champions League, and as such, the brand has kicked off its annual local promotion.
“Bars and media houses played in a Foosball competition at the launch Saturday night at Gravity Lounge. Customers will also have the chance to take part in similar Foosball competitions at the various Bars around Guyana in the Heineken UCL Series,” Hiscock informed.
He said that Heineken will be hosting numerous events around Guyana where football fans will be given the opportunity to enjoy the final stages of the UEFA Champions League. “This year’s promotion, like last year’s, will end with a massive final party slated for June 6. It will be bigger and better than ever before,” Hiscock assured.
In the Foosball competition Saturday night to usher in the Heineken’s UEFA Champions League 2015 Promotion, Capitol News’ Esan Griffith emerged winner with General Manager of Gravity Lounge, Navin Singh second and Chronicle’s, Rawle Toney third.
